•  Tourism is a core element of community, challenges and opportunities. 

 

•  Town is within 2-3 hours of major city.  

•  City Government budget/resources. Are they comparable?   

•  Sustainability/green mindset is a challenge and priority.

• The natural environment of the community and region is central to the economy and community life.

   

•  Potential for educational collaborations/student/teacher exchanges/college. 

 

•  Potential for cultural exchanges.   

•  Potential for professional exchanges related to tourism, arts, hospitality, businesses and health. 

•  Potential for partnering city to bring people in Sedona together across differences.

 

• The community has a team of leaders who are deeply invested in this potential partnership.
